The Cameroon music industry has once more lose another prominent artist. Clarisse Valery popularly known as Clarisse Wopso kicked the bucket yesterday in France. After the release of her hit songs back in the days like ‘Voleur de plaisir’ and ‘tout se paie Ici bas’ Clarisse Valery secured her self a marital home in France but which she later had a divorce.
She was well known for her exaggerated outfits which was admired by many young girls and she even had a skirt named after her ‘La jupe wopso’. Just few weeks back, the bikutsi singer was allegedly admitted in a psychiatric hospital in France but yesterday the 1st of August, her lifeless body was found. The immediate cause of her death is not yet known.
All we can say is RIP to the deceased. But one thing we are certain about is that her music will lives on!
