Cameroonian video vixen, model and winner of “Number One Girl” TV show, Djina Brightly Mangha Ebai, who was born in mutengene and now studies Political Science in the University of Buea shares insight on her journey as a “Video Vixen”, Aspiring actress, ‘Number One Girl’ season 3 winner and she also clears up rumors that her cash prize(1,000,000 CFA Francs) was collected by the organizers after the grand finale. It was a major buzz on the internet.

MGP: What was it like getting into the Number one girl reality show?

Djina Brightly: It was actually an amazing feeling because I saw it as an opportunity to get to meet people with different views and opinions about life. Also, I saw it as a great platform to expose my talent and boost my career as a video vixen.

MGP: Were you sure of making it to the finals. Why?

Djina Brightly: Well I was skeptical at one point but since I knew how good I am at what I do and also I had faith in God, I knew I will make it to the finals.

MGP: What challenges did you face during the “Number One Girl Show” ?

Djina Brightly: I encountered a lot of challenges but I’ll mention a few; No means of communication with friends and family was actually my greatest challenge. Also, trying to live with people with different characters and lifestyle wasn’t easy.

MGP: Are the rumors regarding the fact that the cash prize(1M CFA Francs) you won was later on collected from you by the organizers after the grand finale true? What do you have to say about that?

Djina Brightly: All rumours about the organizers collecting the money from me are false. I received my prize in cash and it’s in my possesion.

MGP: You have featured in many prominent kamer music videos of the big names in the music industry, What’s your secret ?

Djina Brightly: *clears throat* My secret, I’ll say is hardwork and persistence. I love my job and I do it with passion no matter the circumstances surrounding it.

MGP: How do you intend on spending the money you won from the Number one Girl show?

Djina Brightly:  I intend to give my mom some of the money to start up a business and I also intend to inverst some in my fashion business. Also, to support the vixen agency(butterfly) that have been assisting me through out my career.

MGP: What projects are you currently working on and how big do you plan on expanding your career?

Djina Brightly: For now, am keeping a low profile, concentrating on my studies, fashion business and my career.

MGP:  Where do you see your self in 5 years as a video vixen ?

Djina Brightly: I see myself doing greater things and I aim at being an international video vixen and also to be a good actress because am more passionate in acting.

MGP: Apart of being a model and vixen, what other things do you do ?

Djina Brightly: I’m a student and a business lady.

MGP: Do you think Models and Vixens are respected in Cameroon that much ? What advise can you give upcoming video vixens or models?

Djina Brightly: Well I don’t think they are being respected that much, many people still misjudge and condemn vixens. They see vixens as loose girls which is not so. I’ll like to encourage upcoming vixens and models to be persistent,work hard and know your worth. Also, they shouldn’t allow anyone trample on their craft. They should work with passion and believe in God.
